You’ll learn how approaches to treating wounded soldiers have changed over the past century, and what factors—beyond technological progress and advancements in weaponry—have influenced the evolution of pre-medical and tactical medical protocols. We will explore experiences from World War I, the Ukrainian War of Independence, the German-Soviet War, the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, as well as russia’s hybrid and full-scale aggression against Ukraine.
Museum staff will introduce you to the stories of Ukrainians who provided professional medical care on the front lines across different eras, contributed to innovations, and helped save soldiers’ lives.
You will also experience: videos from combat medics of the Armed Forces of Ukraine; demonstrations of rescue equipment; hands-on skills in pre-hospital care.
We invite you to discover the power and dedication of military medics!
